In addition to transferring our own fingerlings that we have been raising since may, we also added 50 much larger fish of approximately 250 g to the system. To increase the biomass in our system we decided to add much larger fish into 1 tank while keeping all our own fingerlings in the other. The fish that we brought from a smaller existing system were transported to our farm in a barrel. It was important to make sure the pH levels were the same to not shock the fish when introducing them to their new habitat. Check out the video of me transferring some of fish.
